Prism Volume 1: Cities of the Nights

Prism is a multimedia creative ‘zine’ that provides a platform for urbanites, geographers, and architects alike! We aim to showcase the multifaceted nature of the city, from the perspective of those who reside within it. Just as a Prism comes in many different forms, so does the city; Prism reflects its namesake by conveying the perspectives that embody the city’s polymorphous landscape.

Submissions can include photography, drawings/paintings/design, poetry, short essays/prose, and op-eds.

If you have a piece that you’d like to submit, but you’re unsure it will fit these categories, email us - we are flexible! Additionally, the zine will be based on a theme, which will be announced with the submission call out.

By making this our theme, we aim to showcase how the dynamism of the city shines the brightest in the night; as it shifts away from its daytime counterpart, the nocturnal city alters the way we experience the spaces around us. With your submissions, Prism aims to reflect this myriad of experiences and perspectives within our zine.
